Education Futures International (EFI) provides an educational program that taps into the capabilities of the minds of children while challenging them to pursue learning at the highest potential of one’s ability.

HISTORY OF EDUCATION FUTURES INTERNATIONAL

Education Futures International (EFI) originated in California in 1946, as a support program for higher education under the direction of Randolf and Martena Sasnett. They incorporated EFI and began to focus on values in education, sponsoring symposia twice a year and brought seminal thinkers from around the world to participate in discussions on such topics as values and moral development, adult learners, child development and confluent education.

EFI'S PHILOSOPHY

The underlying premise of EFI is that there appears to exist within each person something greater than the sum of intelligence, intuition, innate talent and curiosity. Moreover, that something is reflected in a child’s intention and enthusiasm to learn; thus one’s creative spirit or human need to know.

EFI'S COMMITMENT

EFI is committed to the whole-child approach. That is, helping children to use their minds, bodies and emotions to create viable personal skills to manage relationships, both at home and in the world at large.
